Section 01

Usually, couples have good-quality embryos in addition to the embryos that were transferred during the IVF procedure. Couples are advised to freeze these embryos in the fertility center laboratory for the following reasons: the possibility of using these embryos in later attempts without the need for ovarian stimulation injections and without undergoing the egg retrieval procedure, which reduces financial cost and physical discomfort; the chances of pregnancy with frozen embryos are equivalent to the chances of pregnancy with embryos in the first attempt; and no abnormalities, diseases, congenital disorders, or genetic conditions have been proven in children born after the transfer of frozen embryos compared with others.
