Section 01

When examining some women who suffer from heavy menstrual bleeding and severe menstrual pain, we notice an enlargement in the size of the uterus.

This is usually associated with repeated pregnancies and deliveries, and it is due to fibrosis of the uterine muscle caused by repeated growth and atrophy.

This diagnosis is different from the presence of uterine fibroids, which are benign tumors that grow in the uterine muscle.

Both diagnoses may be similar in symptoms, but they differ in methods of follow-up and treatment.
