Section 01

Sexual desire decreases in most pregnant women, and the man may feel less interested in sexual relations with his pregnant wife. This is due to hormonal reasons in the pregnant woman and mixed psychological factors in the husband. Sexual relations within their usual limits do not have negative effects on a normal pregnancy if there are no medical reasons to avoid intimacy, such as placenta previa or early leakage of amniotic fluid. Intercourse during the ninth month of pregnancy may be a factor that stimulates labor. Moderation in everything makes it a non-harmful factor.
